When Nisha Akka sang the composition, I felt that it was the most melodious, lyrically accurate, dignified version of the song that I have ever heard, the same qualities that I admire in her music in general. The idea to include Kanjira for this song was also her’s and who better than the senior Vidwan KV Gopalakrishnan to accompany the song?
