Fiery Testimony and Snarky Comments Fly Between Charlie Adelson’s Sister and Prosecutor

When Charlie Adelson’s sister, Wendi Adelson, took the stand Thursday, snarky comments flew between Wendi and the prosecutor. At one point, the two got into a heated argument surrounding accusations that Wendi Adelson told police her brother allegedly spoke about hiring a hitman to kill her ex-husband, Dan Markel. Wendi Adelson denied that her family had any part in the murder. Charlie Adelson was arrested for first-degree murder — investigators believe he hired several people to murder Markel.
