Wendi Adelson Testifies in Brother's Hitman Conspiracy Murder Trial — Full Testimony Part One

Wendi Adelson, the ex-wife of murdered FSU professor Dan Markel, testified in her brother’s murder trial Thursday. Wendi Adelson said her relationship with rocky with Markel and she ultimately chose to end their marriage. She testified that Charlie Adelson never mentioned hiring a hitman to her specifically and if he ever did make such a statement, it was as a joke. Prosecutors believe Charlie Adelson recruited three people to kill Markel so Wendi Adelson could have full custody of the children they had together.
