🌞 Surya Namaskar, also known as Sun Salutation, is a rejuvenating sequence that warms up your body, increases your flexibility, and energizes you for the day ahead.

‍This sequence of 12 poses for the spine is a fantastic general warm-up exercise and is highly recommended to start every practice of yoga asana. Not only does it improve flexibility in the spine and other limbs of the body, but it is also incredibly healing for anyone, especially the elderly or those who are very stiff.

🧘 In this Sun Salutations for Beginners Guide, we provide steps and tips for a half round of the sequence. You'll learn how to move with your breath, which pace to choose for your practice, and the differences between classical versus modern Sun Salutations.

As you build more strength and endurance, you can gradually increase the number of rounds you practice. But remember, it's always best to go slow and get comfortable with the steps before moving on to more challenging variations.
