Road to the Arnold — 2020 — Mattie Rogers / 8k

24 year-old weightlifter Mattie Rogers, whose personal journey to the 2020 Arnold Championships is also part of a longer quest to join the USA Olympic Weightlifting team this summer in Tokyo, takes us behind the scenes of her current training program. She discusses the challenge of overcoming a recent back injury, as well as changing up her diet to add LBs. She also looks back on the origins of her work ethic and her athletic evolution from gymnastics to competitive cheerleading, CrossFit, and Olympic weightlifting.

Rogue’s complete live stream of the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic begins here on Friday, March 6, at 1 PM EST. 10 strongmen will compete in 6 events over 2 days for the title of Arnold Strongman Classic Champion.
