Leng Super Saap (เล้ง Super แซ่บ สาขาลาดหญ้า)
Leng Saap loosely translates to delicious spicy pork spine soup. It's made by boiling pork bones for several hours and finished of with loads of Thai chilies, fish sauce and herbs.
XXL Laeng Saab (เล้งแซ่บ) 490 THB (£11.10 - $15.66)
I had to order the XXL size, a massive plate of pork bones, a mad amount of Thai green chilies and the soup bone broth. Out of all the Thai street food dishes I’ve tried, Leng Saap is one of the most unbelievable and insanely giant street foods I’ve ever eaten.
Although there was no way I was going to finish the massive soup myself, I thought I'd get it just to show you!
I also ordered the Leng Tod - 80 THB (£1.81 - $2.56) which was exceptional. It's the same stewed pork bone in the soup but the deep fry it to crispy perfection and top with with crispy garlic. The best Thai Street Food dish I've had in a while!
Last up, the unofficial national Thai dish - Pad Kaprao (Stir Fried Holy Basil) 60 THB (£1.36 - $1.92). Served with a perfectly cooked duck egg for extra richness, this pad kaprao has sneaked into my top 5 pad kaprao in Bangkok list!
