Today I headed to the old town of Bangkok (Rattanakosin) to sample four tourist-friendly (but still authentic) Thai street food dishes in one area. I want to help you find authentic Thai street food wherever you are staying in Bangkok by giving you these little DIY food tours in every area of the city.
I had Rad Na Talay (gravy noodles with seafood) and Pad See Ew (wide rice noodles with soy sauce) at Rat Na Yot Phak 40 Years (ราดหน้ายอดผักสูตร 40 ปี), Kuay Teow Sukhothai (spicy and sour soup) at Ta Chai Sukhothai Noodles (ตาชัย ก๋วยเตี๋ยวสุโขทัย) and Ice Cream Nga Dum (sesame ice cream) at Natthaphon Coconut Ice Cream (นัฐพรไอศครีมกะทิสด)
Bangkok's Chinatown can be a bit overwhelming if it's your first time in Bangkok as it's so big, so I thought I'd do some videos to help break it down into sections so you can get some awesome street food wherever you go.
