IRiS Lab has been working in LiDAR-based 6D SLAM technology for accurate and efficient mapping of an autonomous vehicle. For this, we've developed the technology of the Human-in-the-Loop Loop Closing system in which human users step in to optimize a 3D map to help build it more efficiently and precisely. Thus, Human-in-the-Loop Loop Closing System can make an edge manually. It also helps to remove any remaining errors incurred while using SLAM.
