Today’s asmr video is home made Honey Combo chicken mukbang! They said they are going to raise the price on Honey Combo chicken at kyochon chicken and that kinda got my craving going… So I ended up making them myself XD. Well it ended up being really similar to the ones from the shop. I did add some Cheongyang Pepper (Species of Korean Green Chilli) and it also tasted like Macho King Chicken too..? Well if you are looking for the pure and original flavor of Honey Combo, probably best to leave the chillies out! Also, it might be better to have a thinner batter than what I did. My jaws were suffering as I ate mine lol. Anyhow! I hope everyone enjoyed today’s video as well~

Ingredient: Curry Powder, Salt, Pepper, Chicken Stock, Soju, Batter/breadcrumb/Panko (Translator's note: Korean/Asian markets near you should also sell specific battering powder for Korean Fried Chickens), Starch Powder, Soy Sauce, Honey, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Cooking Rice Wine/Mirin, Oyster Sauce, Minced Garlic, Green Onion/Leek, Cheongyang/Green Pepper (Can be left out - ;) Chef’s preference), Peperoncino, Chicken (Drumsticks/Wings).

1. Seasoning: Mix 1 Tbsp Curry Powder, some Salt & Pepper, Chicken Stock and Soju and Chicken to season them.
2. Get 2 Cups of Batter/Panko Powder (Korean paper cup standard:1 cup=appx 192ml), 2 Cups of Starch Powder, 3 Cups of cold water and make a dough/batter
3. Dip the chicken into batter mixture and evenly coat the chicken first, then roll them in a dry batter/panko powder again
4. In a preheated oil of 170’c, fry the chicken for 10 to 12 minutes
5. Making the sauce - 60ml Water, 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce, 4 Tbsp Honey, 2 Tbsp Cornstarch, 1 Tbsp Sugar, 2 Tbsp of Mirin/Rice Wine, 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce, 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic and mix them well until they all melt.
6. Add a little bit of Spring onions, Green pepper, and Peperoncino, into the sauce then boil on low heat for about 5 minutes.
7. Coat the chicken with the sauce evenly and then it's done!
