Why Is Going No Contact So Hard Post Discard With The Narcissist

Going no contact and achieving/maintaining no contact is extremely hard for an empathic person who previously and normally believes in talking problems through with others.  No contact is like a death to the empath and seems cruel to implement, notwithstanding the cruelty that the empath has previously and continuously suffers, as a consequence of being in a relationship with a covert narcissist.
