The Evil Of Matti Saari

Less than a year after the most devastating mass shooting in Finnish peacetime history, where Pekka-Eric Auvinen took the lives of eight Jokela High School students, the nation faced an even more tragic event. At the commencement of a new academic year at the Kauhayoki School of Hospitality in Western Finland, a Hospitality Management student named Matti Saari entered the school premises and executed what would become the deadliest mass shooting in Finnish history. Despite eerie warning signs and unsettling YouTube videos posted by Saari, which drew the attention of the police, efforts to assist this young man would sadly come too late, resulting in the loss of multiple lives.
