Today we are talking about Olympic Triple Jump Rules. There are 3 phases in the triple jump. Hop Phase Step Phase Jump phase Unlike other jumps, a triple jump consists of an approach run followed by a hop, a step, and a jump. The triple jump has three consecutive touchdowns and takeoffs at high speed. The primary goal of the triple jump is to jump the Tripleest distance combining all three phases. Another most important objective for the athlete is to maintain the highest possible horizontal speed, throughout the Hop, the Step, and the Jump. Each finalist takes three jumps, then the top eight jumpers receive three more attempts. The Tripleest single jump during the final wins. Scoring in the triple jump is measured in terms of the distance of the jump.
