Diana Rigg Before Emma Peel

Back in 1963, Diana Rigg appeared in an an episode of 'The Sentimental Agent' written by Brian Clemens - one of the creative forces behind 'The Avengers'. It wouldn't be true to say that this character is like Emma Peel but you can see the expressions and tones of voice that she would bring to that later role. She owns each scene she is in, especially the first one in which she says 'Thank you' a little too often.
