Welcome to Average Joe's Exclusive Shaky Cam Series with a few bits of information for fellow Powerblock owners who have begun to receive their brand new Average Joe 316 Stainless Steel Knurled Grip Kits.

This a not meant to be a full installation video.  Earlier this year I made an installation video that covers the procedure in greater detail:  How to Install Average Joe Stainless ...

Instead, in this video I show some of the key differences between the different grip types, and a few things to keep in mind during your installation.

3:20 Type B

Cheers,

[CORRECTIONS:
At 3:40 I meant 4mm shoulder not 3mm.
And at 4:17 I meant foam rubber, not simply foam.
Next, at 5:20 I should have clarified that due to Powerblock manufacturing inconsistencies some USA Elite adder weight mechanisms may have play (may be loose) in the closed position as well. This is for the same reason mentioned in the video: lack of the OEM foam rubber resting against the mechanism. If your USA Elite adder weight mechanism is loose after upgrading to my grips, you will need to place a foam/rubber/plastic washer between the grip and metal plate. There are multiple ways to solve this. I will go over the various solutions in an upcoming video.
And, finally, at 8:05 when I refer to 4.5 and 5mm screws I am talking about the allen wrench size that you will need to remove them, not the bolt size. For example, the M6 (6mm) bolt uses a 5mm allen wrench.]
