Justine tries to make lemon ice cream from an 1824 recipet. This dish doesn't call for blood, sweat and tears but we're gonna add some anyway. These are the days before Victorian hand cranked ice cream machines that became the norm yet still ice cream was everywhere! It was a favorite dessert of many rich or poor.
