Grammy-winner Brittany Howard on voicing Thelma in Netflix's animated movie Thelma the Unicorn

Grammy-winning musician Brittany Howard - who rose to international fame as the lead singer of Alabama Shakes and released her sophomore solo album "What Now" in February - speaks with The Queer Review's editor James Kleinmann about voicing Thelma, the lead character in the animated movie Thelma the Unicorn which launches globally on Netflix, and opens in select theaters, on Friday, May 17th. During the conversation Howard shares some of the icons who inspired her, along with those she has performed on stage with, what it was like to inhabit the character of Thelma and perform the songs in the film.
