Welcome back, lovelies. Today, let's dive into the psychology of weight loss. But first, a trigger warning: we'll touch on eating disorders, emotional eating, and more. Proceed with caution or skip if needed.

In January's rush for new habits, it's crucial to be mindful of the mindset behind our choices. Our relationship with food involves both biology and psychology. Understanding the biological side helps release shame tied to overeating.

Food is not just fuel; it's emotional. Loneliness, stress, and trauma can drive overeating. Recognising these triggers is key to a healthier approach to weight loss.

Perfectionism, control, and societal pressures contribute to unhealthy cycles. Shift focus to gratitude and balance. Diet culture's negative impact requires acknowledging fears and learned behaviors.

Chronic stress leads to unhealthy eating habits. Recognize and replace unhealthy patterns, and consider if food is used as a reward or punishment.

In the latter part, we'll explore practical steps for a healthier relationship with food.

Remember, it's a journey. With love, time, and curiosity, you can transform your mindset and body.

I'm here for you, and I believe in your ability to embark on this transformative journey.

Until next time, take care and much love.
