Vanessa Stoklasa is in her late 20s when her father dies unexpectedly. Beekeeping was his hobby, from childhood his daughter had accompanied and supported him. After her father's death, it is clear to Vanessa: I cannot abandon the bees. With the bees, she feels close to him.
Besides her management studies, Vanessa takes care of the bees, gives insights into her beekeeping life on social media, and is on the road in summer with a mobile sales stall with her own honey.
In the film, she talks about how it felt to suddenly stand alone in the bee meadow, why beekeeping is like good therapy, and what everyone can do to support and protect wild bees in their own environment.
