Mahashivratri Upvas Thali / महाशिवरात्री उपवास थाळी

1. रताळ्याच्या घाऱ्या / उपवासाच्या पुऱ्या  
2. साबुदाणा खिचडी
3. ओल्या नारळाची खीर,
4. बटाटा fries    
उपवाससाठी रताळ्याचे घारगे | Sweet potato Puri for Fasting  –
साहित्य | Ingredients
• रताळे 250 ग्राम्स | Sweet Potato 250 grams
• किसलेला गूळ ½ कप | Chopped Jaggery ½ Cup
• मीठ चवीनुसार | Salt to taste
• वरई पीठ 1 ते सवा कप अंदाजे | Sama Flour 1-1 ¼ Cup Approx
• तळण्यासाठी तेल | Oil for frying
Method –
• Wash sweet potatoes well, keep it in a pressure cooker tin, put some water at the bottom of the pressure cooker, put sweet potato tin into the pressure cooker, and take 2 whistles.
• Let the pressure release from pressure cooker, take potato out and let it cool down completely.
• Once cool down, peel the skin from potato and grate the potato.
• Add grated jaggery and salt to taste and mix well.
• Then add sama flour to make semi soft dough, cover the dough and let it rest for 10 mintues,
• After mins, take small lemon sized ball from the dough.
• On rolling pad put butter paper, apply some ghee onto it , put ball onto it again put butter paper on the top of the dough and gently press the dough with the help of a plate.
• Puri is ready, deep fry puri on med to high heat.

Sabudana Khichadi Recipe | साबुदाणा खिचडी रेसिपी
• साबूदाणा 1 कप | Sago 1 Cup
• साजूक तूप 3 चमचे | Ghee 2-3 tbsp
• बटाटा 1 मध्यम | Potato 1 med
• हिरव्या मिरची तुकडे 1 tbsp | Green chillies chopped 1 tbsp
• साखर 1 चमचा | Sugar 1 tsp
• सैंधव मीठ चवीनुसार | Pink Himalayan Salt to taste
• भाजलेल्या दाण्याचा जाडसर कूट 3/4 कप | Raosted peanuts crushed ¾ cup
• दूध 2-3 tbsp | Milk 2-3 tbsp
Method –
• Wash the sago well, keep some water into it and soak it overnight or for about 5-6 hours. (you add some milk while soaking the sago)
• Heat up some oil / ghee into a kadhai add green chilies and potatoes and some salt and saute on med heat till potatoes get nice golden brown color
• Then add sugar, roasted peanut crushed and saute for a min on low heat.
• Then add soaked sago and salt to taste and saute on med heat for about 3-4 minutes, then cover and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
• After 2 minutes add milk and again stir for abut 2 minutes and again cover and cook for a min on low heat.
• After a min check again, stir for a min and serve hot.

नारळाची खीर रेसिपी | Coconut Kheer Recipe
• ओल्या नारळाचा चव 1 कप | Fresh coconut scraped 1 Cup
• दूध अर्धा लिटर | Milk ½ Liter
• साखर ½ कप | Sugar ½ Cup
• काजू , बदाम पिस्ता काप | Cashew, Almond pista
• साजूक तूप 1 चमचा | Ghee 1 tsp
Method –
• Heat some ghee into a kadhai and add scraped coconut and roast for 2-3 mins.
• Then add sugar and some water and mix well and cover and cook for 2 mins on low heat.
• Then add billed milk, kesar and dryfruits chopped and cook on low heat for 5-6 mins.
• At the last add cardamom pw and turn off the heat.

उपवासाचे फिंगर चिप्स | बटाटा फ्राइज रेसिपी | Potato Fries Recipe
• मोठे लांब बटाटे 2-3 | Potatoes 2-3
• सैंधव मीठ चवीनुसार | Pink Himalayan Salt to taste
• वरई पीठ ¼ कप (गरजेप्रमाणे) | Sama Flour ¼ Cup
• मिरची पावडर 1/2 tsp | Red Chilly pw ½ tsp
• तळण्यासाठी तेल | Oil for frying
Method –
• Wash and peel the potato skin, and chop like finger chips.
• Wash chopped potatoes for 3-4 times and strain well
• Boil some water into a pan, once water is boiling add pink Himalayan salt and potatoe pices.
• Boil potatoes for 2-3 mins on high heat, take the potatoes out and drain extra water.
• Spread potatoes onto a cotton cloth and wipe gently to remove excess water. And keep it into deep freezer for 15 minutes.
• Then into a bowl add samal flour, salt and red chilly pw and add water to make thick slurry.
• Deep potatoes into the ready slurry and deep fry into hot oil.
