This lecture is an introduction to the third post-Atlantean cultural epoch, the Egyptian-Chaldean epoch, the community of Pergamon. A first inkling emerged that the dark represents a developmental task for humanity, which lies in the confrontation with the dark and should ultimately lead to the redemption of the dark forces. For this, Christ descended into the realm of death at the event of Golgotha. Humanity needs a knowledge of the underworld, therefore a strong confrontation with this underworld begins in the third cultural epoch, which continues into the Greco-Latin cultural epoch. We learn that the underworld lies within the earth and the difference between the underworld, the realm of the dead, the lower astral spheres, the Kamaloka, where our karma packs are deposited, and the higher and highest spiritual spheres is explained.....
