We arrived in Hawaii at 0817 on the 31st of January. Distance steamed from San Francisco was 2106 NM.
We took the Pearl Harbour excursion with Roberts Hawaii. which included downtown Honolulu. Our guide Cousin Dorothy who drove the bus and gave excellent commentary.
Lolani Palace was the home of Hawaii’s last reigning monarchs. The statue is of King David Kalahaua

It was horrendously windy at Nuuanu Pali lookout however the panoramic view was marvellous. This was the site of the battle of Nuuanu in 1795.
This battle is said to be the definitive battle that finally unified the Hawaiian islands and people.
