Uyghur Oral History with Baqam Yunusoghli (2013), 29 minutes,subtitles in English

Baqam Yunusoghli was born on June 15, 1916, in Ghulja and his grandfather is originally from Hoten. He witnessed the times of Khojaniyaz Haji and studied in the agricultural institute under arrangement of Khojaniyaz Haji. He attended a lot of anti-Chinese activities and spent so many years in prisons and labor camps. He also worked in the government of east Turkistan Republic. He also witnessed the end of the republic. He was one of the 51 intellectuals who wrote to Maozedong about the situation of East Turkistan and sentenced to prison because of that act. Later he was forced to migrate to Soviet Union.
