Several videos captured different moments in which rare volcanic lightning forked across the sky from the ash cloud of the Philippines' Taal volcano on Sunday, Jan. 12.
The eruption of the volcano this weekend and sent large clouds of ash and the often rare type of lightning has burst into the sky multiple times.
The volcano's activity has sent tens of thousands of people fleeing the area with experts warning the eruption could get worse.
Timelapse video also captured ash spewing into the air over the span of five hours on Monday as concerns continue to mount, however there have been no reported casualties or major damage so far.
