Instead, in all circumstances, he respects the wishes of his Beloved and avoid all kinds of supplications and desires. If the Beloved wants him to pass through the test, the Divine lover requests for the perseverance instead of asking for leniency. And that is what Husayn ibn Ali did. He was prepared to face all the hardships that awaited him to test the perseverance of his faith.
