Snow Goose VS. Canada Goose: Can You Hear the Difference?

Whether you enjoy hearing the calls of geese or want to enjoy a beautiful sky at sunset, be sure to watch this video! While there are resident Canada Geese in my area, this time of the year (late November), the migratory Canada Geese start arriving.  Their calls fill the air as they fly overhead and sometimes land nearby.  They sound similar to the Snow Geese that are also starting to arrive, but to the trained ear, there is definitely a difference.  I hope you enjoy seeing (and hearing) these geese.  Although their arrival means winter will soon be here, it’s always great to see the massive flocks as they land in farm fields or on the Delaware Bay.
