Harold Bloom continues his discussion of the stories of Moses and the other children of Abraham and looks for clues in the text where the original story was revised. He ruminates on these revisions and postulates why the writer saw it necessary to alter the text. Bloom's love of language and the many ways it can be manipulated to alter meaning in subtle ways is apparent. Discussion of the text begins around 6:30 (Moses meets Yahweh on Mt. Sinai.) Enjoy.
