Lemon Shake Up

1 Lemon Sweeter of your choice to taste 2 cups Ice 2 cups Water Clean the lemon and cut it into quarters. Place the sliced lemon and the sugar in the bottom of a large glass. Like a quart mason jar or a tall deli soup container I used my tupperware shaker. Using a muddler or a wooden spoon to mash the lemon wedges into the sugar. Fill the glass with ice, and then water. Place the lid on the jar or container or shaker, and shake it a few times. Shake well to combine the lemon sugary goodness and until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Pour your lemon shake-up into a large serving glass and add more ice to fill the glass as needed. I like to garnish with a lemon slice on the side of the glass. Drink up and be prepared to make more cause it's so good and refreshing!
