Jesse Cornett narrates this story - the winner of our March 2014 Short Writing Contest - by author Tom Jonas-Mawji. The story is told from the perspective of a serial killer, who after ending the life of victim # 27, falls asleep on a bus after making his getaway. When the storyteller awakes to discover several passengers on the bus, he worries he may be recognized, discovered or caught, and that his brand of "justice" may be coming to an end. When he realizes that some of the faces are...familiar...things take a decidedly paranormal turn.
