Congratulations on installing GrapheneOS. You've already done more than most people will do to protect their privacy in their lifetime. Unfrotautnly, the journey isn't over yet. There's a lot of settings and customizations that can be made to grapheneOS to make it more user-friendly, and secure. The first few items I discuss are enabling battery percentage, enabling dark theme, night light, adaptive brightness, and auto-rotate. While these aren't necessarily security-focused, they make the device a bit nicer to use.

Another nice to have customizations that I enabled are the feature to always show time and info, this shows a "ghost" display when your phone is locked. You can se the time, date, and some notification icons.

The next group of settings revolves around security. The first is hiding sensitive content on the lock screen. By default, full messages are shown on the screen in notifications, even when your phone is locked. While it's nice ot see what's going on without unlocking your device, the potential to display sensitive information to random people looking is high. This is why I chose not to display sensitive content until the phone is unlocked.

Auto reboot is a feature I think is overlooked a lot, but highly important. Your phone is always most secure before the first unlock after a reboot. Once you unlock your phone for the first time, encryption keys are stored in quick access memory which makes it easier for attackers to gain access to your device (even if it's protected by a pin code). Auto reboot will do what it says, auto reboot your phone after a specified period of time you haven't unlocked it for. This guarantees your phone will be returned to that pre-first unlock state.

I also like to arrange the quick access menu in a way that shows me all the privacy compromising services right when I drag down the menu. Services like NFC, Bluetooth, and location, are easily visible so I can always know if they're enabled or not.

If you want to set up your quick access menu as I have it in the video, here's the order I have set:
----------------------
Pg. 1
Wi-Fi | Location | Bluetooth
Mobile data | Hotspot | NFC
Pg. 2
Airplane mode | Flashlight | Do Not Disturb
Battery Saver | Screen Record | Auto-rotate
----------------------
