Why US’ MQ-1C Gray Eagle Drones May Not Help Ukraine In Repelling Putin’s Russian Forces In Donbas

Two Ukrainian Air Force pilots have dismissed the value of a proposed sale of US-made MQ-1C Gray Eagle armed drones to Ukraine. The pilots also said Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 UAVs have also become virtually useless against Russia’s robust air defences. The Ukrainian fighter pilots argued that advanced Western fighters like F-16s would benefit Kyiv more.
