Running Away

The plaintiff is suing the defendant, her ex-boyfriend and the father of her daughter, because she claims he owes her money for an eviction fee and apartment bills. The defendant says he broke up with the plaintiff because he wanted a better life, and he believes the plaintiff is just suing him out of spite.
