Chip Sealing Our Street - Clallam County Road Department

It took the Clallam County Road Department four months, mid-March through mid-August to complete the chip & seal process for resurfacing selected county roads. As luck would have it, the road directly in front of our house was one of them! Having a front-seat view, I documented this multi-stage, meticulously choreographed process up close, to include an invitation to climb aboard a brand-new road surface spray truck! Watching the train of vehicles advancing up and down the streets was both impressive and entertaining! What is not depicted in this short video was the inconvenience for us residents – the noise, dust, smells, delays, and cleanup. That said, the result is an awesome resurfaced street right in front of our house and throughout our community!
