Here is another collection of my USB fans from Soundtech, Classic Fan model CS-070. For a USB fan, this fan is quite large in size. Previously, I had seen this fan model on the internet, where this fan was produced by an OEM from China which came in several colors and several grill, body, and blade variants. I didn't even think that I would find this fan in Indonesia! Well, I got this fan in second-hand mint condition, where the previous owner also sold several appliances from Singapore, so I assume that this fan was previously sold in Singapore, just like my Soundtech Box Fan.
Physically, this fan is generic and describes a typical oscillating fan. I was also quite surprised that the material of this fan is quite heavy and dense. It can be operated using 3 AA batteries or with a USB port and only has 1 speed, as well as an oscillation feature.
In terms of performance, this fan seems to be designed as a silent fan, because its RPM is quite low, but thanks to the deeply pitched blade, the wind produced is quite long and wide. However, one unfortunate thing with this fan is that its neck is not strong enough to support the heavy metal grill so when the oscillation operates, its performance will be slow and heavy. This can also be seen in how the fan oscillation becomes smooth when I turn the fan over and when the grill is removed.
