AB Talks: Emaar’s Mohamed Alabbar on record results, leadership & why Dubai is set to rival New York

The UAE has emerged from the economic pit lane of the pandemic like a racing car leaping into pole position, with its handling of the coronavirus creating an open and accelerating business environment seen in few other countries.

Perhaps nowhere has this been seen more has been Dubai’s resurgent real estate market which month on month has set records throughout 2021.

The latest evidence on this has been the Q3 results posted recently by Emaar Properties, generating Dh26 billion ($7.2 billion) of sales in the first nine months of the year. That’s three times the sales of a year ago.
