70 year old male patient
70 year old male patient presented with generalised significant tooth surface loss which was multifactorial.
The tooth surface loss was restored with direct dahl composites restoring aesthetics, function, reducing dentine hypersensitivity and protecting teeth from further damage. Occlusal vertical dimension was raised by 4-5mm approximately using a conformative approach. Treatment was carried out over several visits. Lateral protected Canine guidance was re-established on both sides. Patient tolerated raised OVD well. The composites will need regular maintenance which is relatively simple to do with composites. Before and after treatment pictures.
