1 FEM/BDC you need to
1 FEM/BDC you need to do it on bench
The CGDI BMW software ,The chassis ,make sure it is FXXX series , if shows others ,then check your car .G series can not support ,FEM 2 can not do too
2 Connect device and FEM , We use platform here ,you can make cables by yourself too
3 Go to FEM/BDC key match page ,It tips version is not supported (some will tip ,some can direct do preprocessing )
How to solve :
1 Check the BTLD version ,if it is higher than 82 (normally 82 83 )
Go to F/G series program function ,choose BDC-body, advanced programming .change BTLD and SWFL version to 80 version ,then confirm
2 Check the BTLD version ,if it is 80 or 81 .Go to F/G series program function ,choose BDC-body,start programming
3 Programing needs about 8 minutes
4 Then go to F/G series coding function ,choose BDC-body,encoding
5 Then back to FEM/BDC key match page ,it tip you to update the ECU program now(We called it preprocessing step)
