How to (or how I)... straighten a guitar neck using heat and clamps...

This is how I straighten a guitar neck that has natural relief with the truss-rod loosened using clamps and heat. You can also reverse this method to add relief by clamping the neck beneath the heal and the 1st fret then use a metal strip as before but also clamp the bend into the centre (or around fret 7) as well...
NOTE: Don't use this method with the frets removed as you will melt the inlays and will have to replace them! This method works best on a fretted neck (I found this out the hard way)...
