How to fix water leak in the Trunk of Toyota Prius? Water got into 12V battery too. Easy Fix. #diy

I have an old 2005 Toyota Prius. There has been water leak in the Trunk of some time. This time water even got into the 12V battery section. Therefore I decided to fix the issue. I found cracks between Trunk and Roof joint. There were multiple cracks on both sides of the car. I use Silicone sealant from Walmart to fill the cracks. I also used Q-tips and paper towel to dry up any wet surface before I applying silicone sealant. Make sure the weather is warm so that Silicone sealant works nicely. Hope this helps.
