This video is basically my own personal ranking list of all 15 ruling dynasties of the Byzantine Empire (330-1453). Having such a long lifespan, the Byzantine Empire in 1,100 years was ruled by 90 different emperors coming from 15 different dynasties. Some of these dynasties were short-lived ones lasting for only a few decades while others were long ones that they ruled for almost 2 centuries. Some dynasties in Byzantine history though may have done a terrible job in running the empire and some did a great job. However, some short-lived dynasties happened to be great whereas some longer ones weren't, although very few dynasties in Byzantine history ruled for a long time. However, the one thing all 15 dynasties in Byzantine history went through no matter how great or how terrible they were was that they all underwent great challenges as not a decade in Byzantine history went by without wars or political unrest. In this 40 minute video, I will be ranking all the 15 dynasties in Byzantine history from my own personal WORST to BEST, so please keep in mind that this video is very much just based on my OWN OPINIONS on each dynasty.
