This will be a great singing tip for beginners. This may seem an odd concept to talk about. Most people accept the idea that it's best to "sing naturally" or "breathe naturally". Is this the best instruction to be given to beginning singers who have lots of vocal problems?
I suggest not. Vocal problems in speaking and singing already feel natural. The correct way to speak and sing if you have vocal problems is to pursue the unnatural and be ready and willing to give up the problematic voice you have, that voice that feels so comfortable, to embrace your new and true voice. Over time, it will come to feel natural, but not at first.
Great vocal technique can feel pretty weird at first.
