Adding Dishwasher Salt To Your Dishwasher

This is not table salt, but no name brand dishwasher salt from my supermarket. The packaging says it is 30% salt amongst other things. I don't know what those other things are. So don't eat it, just in case its bad.
My dishwasher will take a little bit of this salt each time I do a wash, so I need to refill occasionally. I guess once a month might be ok. I still had some in there from my last fill, so I had some salt left over after this pour.
