In post-Napoleonic France, Captain Scarlett, a swashbuckling hero, returns to his homeland to find that his estate has been seized by an evil count. He vows to reclaim his land and protect the innocent, and with the help of a band of loyal companions, he sets out on a series of daring adventures. Along the way, he will find love and danger where he goes.
1953 American adventure film directed by Thomas Carr, that was shot in Mexico as three episodes of a television pilot. The film is set in France following the fall of Napoleon, stars Richard Greene in the title role as a Robin Hood-type avenger and the Brazilian actress Leonora Amar in her final screen role.
Captain Scarlett is a wealthy English aristocrat who secretly leads a double life as a masked vigilante. He returns to France to find that his estate has been invaded by the evil Count de Rochambeau. He will set out on a series of challenging and dangerous adventures to protect the innocent and in need. He will not be alone during this journey, as he will be joined by his group of loyal companions in his attempt to stop the count. He will find love and danger as he moves forward with his plan.
