As it emerges that the Conservative Party accepted a £5 million donation from Frank Hester just before the General Election was called, James O'Brien highlights how the party is now being "funded by racists."
The donation was made two months after Hester was accused of making racist remarks about Labour MP Diane Abbott.
In March, allegations surfaced that during a 2019 meeting, Hester had told staff that Abbott made him "want to hate all black women" and that she "should be shot."
James questions the lack of accountability, asking: "What does someone have to say for their money to be too dirty for the Tory Party to accept?" He also notes that if this were Keir Starmer's Labour Party, the right-wing media would be relentless in their coverage.
