A report by Aston University Business School has revealed that post-Brexit trade between the UK and the EU has dropped due to red tape on British businesses. According to the study, there was a 27% decrease in UK goods exports, with imported goods 32% lower than where they would have been without leaving the EU. James O’Brien says this latest study comes after “eight years of complete denial” from senior politicians about the negative impact of Brexit on businesses in the UK.
