Hello there! Today, I will introduce you the Bobble stitch. This stitch produces a pop up pattern that looks distinctively eye-pleasing. Another advantage is that it helps improve the thickness and durability of the work.
The pattern produced by Bobble stitch is quite similar to that produced by Popcorn stitch. A Bobble stitch is made up of 5 incomplete double stitches into 1 stitch. You will then need to bring the yarn over and intergrate 5 crochets into 1. Between every two Bobble stitches lies 1 single stitch.
Note that you should use your middle finger to shape the bobble from behind and to enhance the stitches. As for the single crochet mentioned above, draw the yarn to fasten the stitch, thus pressing down the ribbing at intervals. As the result, the overall pattern comes out nicely with round bobbles on the surface (Watch the video for detailed explanation).
