On the road - Iao Valley State Park - Wailuku - Maui - Hawaii

At the end of Wailuku, Iao Valley Road, 3.6 km long, brings us into a very dense tropical forest: Iao Valley State Park, a 2.5 hectare park.

In fact, certain sectors of this valley can receive an average of nearly 10 m of precipitation annually, which places it in the second rank of the wettest places in the state of Hawaii.

The road winds at the foot of green cliffs and ends at the parking lot of the Iao Needle belvedere, a steep peak situated in a very spectacular environment.
