Salinas is, without a doubt,
Salinas is, without a doubt, the seafood capital of Puerto Rico (I’m biased). It was also one of Puerto Rico’s sugar cane capitals. But that was so “last century”. The food thing is RIGHT NOW!!!
In this video we explore the “Nuestra Señora de la Monserrate” Parish, City Hall, “Las Delicias” square with its wonderful salt shakers, the Aguirre Sugar Cane plantation, el “Albergue Olímpico”, the “Monumento al Jíbaro”, “Las Tetas de Cayey” and —of course— the “Barrio La Playa” where you find the best seafood anywhere on the Island.
