Bengaluru city police commissioner Alok Kumar went on midnight city rounds to check law and order situation. The police commissioner visited several bars & pubs on Church Street, MG Road, Brigade Road, Commercial Street and other areas and inspected safety and security measures. Alok Kumar also visited several police stations, checkposts in Hebbal, Malleshwaram, Mahalakshmi Layout, Nandini Layout, Laggere, Kurubarahalli, Hennur, Sadashivnagar, Banaswadi, Kammanahalli and other areas. The Bengaluru police commissioner carried out city rounds following increase in the crime incidents including vehicle thefts, chain-snatching and robberies in the city. More than thousand bikes seized for violating traffic rules during Alok kumar's city rounds. He went on city rounds till 3 AM.
