Have you ever wondered what makes metaphors, similes, and analogies different? Or do you want to know what the three types of irony in literature are?
If you're analyzing prose, poetry, nonfiction, or any other piece of text, you'll need to know the literary devices highlighted in this video. I'll show you the definitions of each device and concrete examples drawn from some of my favorite books, poems, movies, and TV shows.
