easy RHUBARB JAM recipe & tutorial | Rhubarb Pineapple Strawberry Jam

I really hope you all enjoy this very simple rhubarb jam recipe! I have added pineapple &, instead of pectin, I used some strawberry Jello. My kids love the mixture of flavors!  Here is the complete breakdown for my jam making process...

Heat up jars in the water bath canner, and make sure the submerged jars have at least 1 inch of water over them during the canning process.
You will need:
12 to 15 half pint jars & lids
12 cups rhubarb
10 cups sugar
2 cups crushed pineapple
12 oz. Jello
Bring the rhubarb & sugar to a boil and let it really boil on high for at least 10 minutes. boil it longer if you want the rhubarb even more broken down. This will make your finished product less chunky and less like preserves.
Once the rhubarb/sugar mixture is done then add your jello or pectin.

Heat up your canning jar lids to soften the rubber seal.
Pull out all the hot jars from the canner and begin filling them with the jam mix. Keep the jam at least a quarter inch from the top.
Once your lids are finger tight on the jars place them back in the hot water (make sure they are fully submerged) and get that water up to a boil.
Once the water is boiling, set a timer for 15 minutes.
Then the process is over. Now just set the jars out so they can naturally cool down.
